About the AML Training

Effective 1 Jan 2020, professional firms in Malaysia are required to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (“AMLA”).  Accordingly, BNM as the regulator has issued a policy document to assist the reporting institutions to meet their AML/CFT obligations under AMLA.

While the policy document is useful, it is important for professional firms to set up the operational processes to deal with the AML/CFT risks and keep up to date on the latest trends and developments in AML/CFT. This training will cover the best practices and latest trends for AML/CFT for the small and medium-sized professional firms in Malaysia.
